The saviors of the people of this great country, the people risking their lives to save ours, are the champions of emergency services. They go into the wilderness to find a lost child. They battle fires and save our tangible memories. They provide emergency medical care at the seen of an accident. They also keep our streets safe by being at the cold face of danger. And they do all of this rain, shine, day, night, freezing cold or oppressive heat. These products can make their lives, and jobs, easier – and they deserve them.
VAL6 – Daystar
One of the most valuable tools for emergency services, primarily due to its portability.
Because the Daystar is so portable, and puts off such a large amount of heat for its size, this is your first stop. Roadsides, recovery tents, personnel HQs, and the like will all benefit from the ease with which the Daystar is moved, and applied.
Like all heaters in the VAL6 range, the Daystar can burn kerosene, #1 & #2 diesel, or bio-diesel (up to 20%) and do so cleanly and efficiently. It can be run off an optional inverter for ultimate portability. The pinpoint burning capabilities means no smell, burning eyes, headaches, nausea, or carbon monoxide to contend with. It is a dual-heating (forced air + radiant) system, with an easy-carry top handle, and a 2.6 gallon fuel tank. Burning 0.4 gallons of fuel an hour – it is rated to operate continuously for 6.5 hours.

VAL6 – KBE5S
The “economy” version of the KBE5L, the KBE5S will still bring big heat to any emergency situation.
The KBE5S, KBE5L and EPX all play the same radiant heat tune. High intensity, quick application, these heaters are used for keeping personnel and equipment warm enough to remain functioning in an emergency situation. Set them up for roadside checks, in recovery tents, or to keep keep firefighters functioning during winter firefights.
The whole VAL6 range is designed to be extra portable, through the ability to run on a power inverter out of your vehicle. Use kerosene, #1 & #2 diesel, or bio-diesel (up to 20%) in any of them, and they’ll burn clean. Super high efficiency of fuel means no burning eyes, no smell, no headaches, no nausea, and no carbon monoxide to worry about. The KBE5S is radiant-only heat, meaning you can use it outdoors and still benefit from it, and indoors it creates a dust-free environment. With a 9 gallon fuel tank, and burning 0.85 gallons of fuel an hour, the KBE5S an go and go for 10.5 hours.

VAL6 – KBE5L
The “premium” version of the KBE5S, the KBE5L allows more control over the high intensity heat it provides.
When it comes to type of heat, the KBE5S, KBE5L and EPX are in the same boat. Deep penetrating, radiant heat that isn’t effected by the elements, means you can take these heaters to road blocks, winter firefights, or search and rescue operations and know they’ll keep the important things warm.
Need head to go? Grab your power inverter and your on your way. Burn kerosene, #1 or #2, or bio-diesel (up to 20%) and know that the KBE5L will burn any of those cleanly. The high fuel-efficiency design means a 100% recovery of heat from fuel burnt, as well as no burning eyes, smell, headaches, nausea, or carbon monoxide to contend with. Purely radiant heat means it’s not interrupted by the elements and can be taken outside. While inside it creates a dust-free environment. Additional features include the fuel exhaust-reclamation visor, high/low switch for added control, and fuel pre-heater. Taking in 0.75 gal/hr on low and 0.9 gal/hr on high, coming out of a 15 gallon fuel tank, means you can run 20 hours and 16.5 hours, continuously, on low and high, respectively.

VAL6 – EPX
Want a heater that has as much heart as you do? The EPX has determination in spades, and is the ultimate partner in wintertime, emergency situations.
Being the largest of the radiant-only VAL6 heaters, the EPX is also the most technologically advanced. Perfect for use on the road side, when trying to find a lost soul in the cold, firefighting in sub-zero temperatures, or thawing out the equipment you need.
Even the biggest of the VAL6 heaters can be run of an inverter out of a vehicle, meaning ultimate portability when you need it. Like the rest, it burns kerosene, #1 and #2, and bio-diesel (up to 20%) cleanly and efficiently. The pinpoint design means a 100% recovery of heat from the fuel burnt. All of this means no smell, burning eyes, headaches, nausea, or carbon monoxide making you sick. Being solely radiant heat, it is unaffected by the elements – so take it outside! Inside, on the other hand, you won’t have dust blowing around. With a fuel exhaust-reclamation visor, high/low switch (continuous running time of 20.5 and 15 hours on low and high, respectively), fuel pre-heater, internal and external thermostats, advanced monitoring system, and extra-large 15.4 gallon fuel tank – the EPX is all you’ll need.

The largest of our portable, evaporative cooler range, the RKF-503. We wouldn’t recommend anything but the biggest and the best to our Emergency Services.
Often, the oppressive heat of the summer months can leave you absolutely exhausted, and sometimes in shock. The worst thing you can do with a body like this is put them into an air conditioned facility to cool them down – be that a car, room, or truck. What they need is to be cooled down gently, gradually, and effectively. The RKF-503 will keep personnel cool, while being the perfect cool-down method for those not dealing well with the heat.
The RKF series of coolers has separated itself from the vast majority of evaporative (swamp) coolers with it’s auto shut-off features. First, the standard pump shut-off for when the water runs dry, to prevent the pump from burning up. The next is the machine shut-off, for when the day is done, your staff needs to dry out the cool pads to prevent mold, mildew and smell, all they need to do is press a button, lock up, and the machine does the rest, shutting itself off when the pads are dried out. Next, there is the removable screen preventing contaminants getting into the pads. When it’s time to clean, just slip it out, instead of maneuvering the delicate cool pads. A removable water tank for easy cleaning, oscillating horizontal louvers with an 80° range of motion, three manual vertical louvers, and only 520 watts power consumption – the RKF-503 is a summer must-have for emergency workers.
